ok, my dealer has a two year old Scag Turf Tiger for sale. 52" Advantage deck, 25HP air cooled Kohler with 800 hours on the machine. It was traded in this year for a new model and the dealer used it as a loaner once and a while. I didn't get a chance to run the machine, but it was clean, the spindles were tight, etc. He wants $3900 for it. Does this sound like a good deal? I've never had problems with my dealer, always been honest. I need a bigger machine and this would really help out, as I could use it on a good deal of my lawns still compared to my 36" w/b I'm using right now. Any opinions are appreciated, thanks.

yea I have been comparing to ebay prices. Those however, are too big. 52" is the biggest I'd go for use on most of my lawns. I could only use a 60" on 2 or 3, not worth it.Comment

my dealer had one that he had took in on trade 2001 kaw liquid cooed not for sure of HP but it did have something like 1500 hrs on it and he offered it to me for $4000.00 I just bit the bullet and bought a new one turf iger 29 dfi Kaw 61 : advantage deck Love it just need some rain so the grass will start growing againComment

i went and bought it today. Never had a ztr before so I was all over the parking lot, but it ran fine, cut grass great and everything. I pick it up tomorrow morning. I even got a warranty on it even though it is used because the mower was originally bought there and the dealer did all the service.Comment
