Shindaiwa pole or extended hedge trimmer

Anyone have experience with Shindaiwa hedge trimmers?

I am looking at the AH2510 180 ° extended pole trimmer. I will be using it for pear trees-at this stage more for ornamental purposes then anything else.
I already have a Stihl pole pruner and was think seriously about the Stihl version, but it only articulates inward 90º instead of outward. I really need the 180º sweep.

This will be the first Shindaiwa product I have owned so I would like some input.

I expect to pay about $500 for the implement.

Stihl hust entered

Aug 15 Stihl just offered a 135 degree sweep version of the HT-100 but with a hedge trimmer head.(Press just came out today).
I just bought one.
$100 less the Shindawa and has same parts as the rest of my gear.
Guess I am staying all Stihl...for now.
