Opinions on MTD Walk Behinds

Looking for entry level equiptment. Are these ok or should I stay away from them?

good if not better then the rest, I have a couple of them, a 52" hydro, and a 36" belt. Mine has the fab deck.

I talk to the guy that does my neighbor's lawn from time to time and he has had his 32" MTD for over 7 years (he has done about 60 lawns per month for the past 7 years). Looks like it has been to he11 and back and it's still making him money. If you do the math, that mower has paid for its self and then some.

I have a mtd 48"belt drive . Its about 7 yrs old and it still kicks. Its a scag knockoff . For the price I payed for it Its a great machine , But its no scag.
