Ferris IS4500Z Problems
I purchased a IS4500 in April and had deck level problems with it. After 4 months of back and forth to the repair shop, Ferris replaced the mower with a new one. The new one has similar level problems. Additionally, I find it to be under power and tears up the lawns. Does anyone own one and have comments about it? (Love it or hate it?)

I don't own one but almost bought one about a month ago. On another lawn forum I have seen some complaints about some serious problems. There are a few folks that are frustrated with them.
That said, there will always be problems for some folks with any brand. Maybe you're unlucky. Hopefully you will get some responses from some Ferris owners. There are many Ferris owners who are very happy with them and they sure look like a good machine.

Thanks for the reply. Do you happen to know what other forum you saw the complains on? I also own 1 IS3000 extreme and 1 IS5000 that I love. Evidently the IS4500's are not perfect yet??????Comment

sorry to hear about the problems you are having. i work at the local Ferris dealer and we have yet to have an unsatisfied customer. we began carrying the line after doing extensive research on all the major competitors and finally decided on Ferris. we especially like the 3000 with 26 horse liquid cooled Kawasaki. i'm personally unfamiliar with your specific problem but, i can assure you that Ferris is of the utmost quality and i hope your dealer is able to make you happy in some way. best of luck.
