  • Proslide vs. other brands

I was wondering if any had input on Proslide vs other types of sulkies. The proslide looks like a new unit but I don't know if my budget will take the price right now. My budget is tight but so are my thighs after a long day with the w/b! Are there any other sulkies that anyone would recommend with a smaller price tag? Thanks for any help! Bill

Thanks for the replies.... Have a Gravely 36 w/b. Had another member email me with a used ProSlide and we are getting a deal together now. I figure used would be a good way to try out a ProSlide. Nearest dealer here in N. Mich wants $360 for new. I have read a few posts from others, esp. TX, and can't believe price differnces!! I just retired and got what I thought was a deal, 2yr old Gravely w/200 hrs, for $500 in really exc. condition. I just have haft dozen accounts for basically "milk and bread" monies and found out that my legs just ain't what they used to be! I really want to thank all here as I have learned a ton about this business in the short time I have been reading the posts!!! Bill

We have a Proslide on a 54in JD/wb and love it`s ability to stripe. Checkout novaecorp.com I`m not sure of the phone# but call them and ask them if they have any blems. They might have a small ding or scatch and like me it could save you 120.00 on one!!!!

          Hey Wilam,

Grew up in Gaylord MI my self.. Here in oakland county now.
if the pro-slide doesn't work out for you, the best price I've seen on a two wheel sulky is around 179.00 at www.j-thomas.com and they are located in Commerce Twp. and ship any where. I hope this helps.

This is my first post to this forum. Does anyone know where I can purchase a Proslide for a good price, new, used or blem? Thanks.

I have over 50 miles of sidewalk/road riding on my velke. There is nothing wrong with riding them on the sidewalk/road/driveway..
