    Recently I bought a kaw 430v motor for a replacement and i hate it i also run 451v on all of my other machines,the filter designs suck on it...the carb already was screwed up any help on this

        Are you sure that you got the choke cable installed correctly when you installed the engine? What is the problem with the air filter? There are different air filter systems available. The cheapest system is not all that great, but you can get a heavier system that is well worth the money if you are using the engine in the dust.

          yea the air filter system sucks,it is alot less heavy dudty compared to the 451v

            my kaw 381v flooded too and sounds like it was having the same problem as yours. but i was not turning the fuel valve off after engine shut down. My mechanic told be to do it everytime you shut the engine off. I don't know why, but it works. My manual says to only choke my engine on the first pull. If it doesn't start then take it off of choke. I don't even choke my engine anymore. I also burn off the fuel at the end of the day. No problems since. Good luck.

              381v thats the 13 hp yeah my dealer told me that my whole carb needs to be cleaned already thats why my idle is up and down
