Deal or No Deal?

I don't normally buy any power equipment at The Home Depot, but while I was in there (outside actually)the other day a guy in an orange apron asked how I was doing and if I was finding everything ok, then he said "I'll make you a good deal on a mower". So I said "How much?" He said "$200 for that Honda and $150 for the lawn boy" This was for a honda HRR216VXA that sells for $499. It was reconditioned (someone bought it and brought it back) but looked very brand new to me. It isn't commercial but I used it on some residentials and even mulched some fescue and it does quite well. I might just keep it for my own yard. Do you think $200 for this was a good deal?

Nah. You did good. But I don't think they retail for $499???
