  • Husqvarna aerator help

Anyone know much about Husqvarna aerators? From what I've seen, they look like they are just re-badged BlueBird units? (afterall, Husqvarna seems to offer a lot of re-badged products now-a-days)

I'm looking into purchasing the AR25 unit. http://www.usa.husqvarna.com/?url=%2...frames%3Dfalse

    Any help would be appreciated.

I own the blue bird version with a honda engine. It is about three years old and it has worked well for me. The only thing it needs right now is a new set of tynes and a drive belt.

Thanks...I guess? I don't have any groupies, I'm too annoying for that.

Anyhow, bout the Husqvarna brand, yes I talked smack on them, but upon further research I've found them to sell both cheap and higher end re-badged products. I still WOULD NEVER purchase a Husqvarna rider (tractor) nor a push mower, simply because I believe these to be comparable to discount store mowers. (please, no comments, let it stand). However, their aerators are rebadged BlueBird units - same through and through, only painted orange and not blue. I've been eyeing aerators for quite some time now. Retail this aerator is $2900.....demoed once - still w/ full warranty - I picked it up for a tad over $1500. Whats more, I have both a Husqvarna AND Bluebird dealer nearby. This was a win-win situation I couldn't pass up. Too much time on my hands? Nah - I'll leave that for you to determine.

Their aerator looks good, and I like the hydro 36, it's a bit more then the quick and dare I say a better machine? Before the end of the year-I'll snag mine...aerator, too.

Sometimes it's good to deal online?

I had to call the ebay seller today to discuss the shipping and while on the phone, the seller offered a Husqvarna (Bluebird) overseeder (demoed once, just as the aerator, along with full warranty) for $850. No extra shipping! I'd have been a fool not to snatch that up either. In all, $4,000+ worth of equipment for $2,598 w/ the s&h.

That seller owns! Think, one can have a "name brand" 36 hydro for about the same price as a Sutech or other 3 blade units...the aerator looks great! I'm getting my Husky 36, and maybe an aerator, too in around Nov.

Good score and please post about the seller!
