  • Husqvarna ZTR

I am just getting started in the Biz. I am looking at a big job now about 5 - 6 acres for a lake resort. I want a ZTR does anyone recommend Husqvarna, I hear they are high quality. If not any other suggestions.

Not sure. I have heard good things, but no first hand experience. I would consider Kubota first possibly.

I may also recommend not buying such a large piece of new equipment if you are just getting started.....unless you have many large jobs allready.

i agree with scraper, but i can tell you i have two grass hoppers and my dealer also sells, encore, husqavarna, toro, and snapper. I ask him about husky because my blowers and weed eaters are husky and i like them. he told me to stick with grasshopper he thinks the huskies are over priced. thats his words not mine. Just some food for thought

I love my husky so far. Just got it this year so time will only tell. It performs well and doesn't hesitate a bit on start up. It even can take out a chain link fence without blinking an eye.<img src=icon_smile_blush.gif border=0 align=middle>
I was going to buy an exmark but this husky was on sale for a whole lot less.
Personally I think you'd be better off on getting a used ztr or a lawn-tractor until things pan out a bit for you. Putting everything on one account is kinda risky. Look around, you'll find something.

I like the Exmark 60" ztr.

look and cut like a pro and get paid like a pro!

5-6 acres is a lot of grass. You don't want to be there all day..

          I like the grass-hoppers too.

How can you justify a ztr with one 5 acre account? Sounds like a $2200.00 walk behind should be a plenty. Zack might come along and steal that job, then buy the ztr at half price.
