What do you think is best front or mid deck ztr's?

I am wanting to know what the pros and cons are on the different deck placement on the ztr mowers. What do you guys feel is better the front deck or the mid?

one big problem

I have looked at front mount mowers and one big problem i have noticed is that the rear end of the mowers stick out quite a bit. That canmake them a bit less agile especially in tight areas.

I was going to say almost the same thing the front deck mowers are so long . They take up a lot of room on the trailer the are not good in tight spaces. Look for a good exmark you will be happy. Imho

There are some"shorter" out fronts coming out for 07 and i know there will be more in 08. They are going to do hills better and have a easier time putting down a better cut

Thanks for your time in replying to this but I am still not sure what I want to buy.
I am thinking really hard about the Grasshopper front deck. They have that flip up deck feature that would make it compact for hauling. It would be nice to spin around a low branched tree and not be wacked in the face with branches. I have also heard that the ride is better on a front deck style. If you were buying a wb also, would you guys still lean toward getting the mid deck??

This was my plan:
1 out front deck 60" ztr
1 48" walk behind
1 21" push
then of course, my trimmers, edgers, blowers, etc

What do you think? Give me your ideas on this please

i have a grasshopper 72" front deck, and youd be suprised what it can get around, but for outright manueuverablty the mid-deck wins out, i wouldent buy a front deck unless its a walker, or exmark frontrunner. If you are looking for a flip up style deck for easy service, check out the new kubotas, they have an articulating front arm that is really different. from what i can tell, awsome machines. Otherwise buy an exmark laser 60", that is the single most common machine around here. Also for your WB get a floating deck, that you can adjust on the fly
