I am in the Houston area and Scag is very popular in this area. I see very few Snappers in the commercial category with the exception of a few 21" here (most 21's around here are Toro Proline 2 cycle). I am currently looking into 32" wb's (gates here are about 35") and am looking at Scag and Exmark.

We love scag walkbehinds the hydro ulitimate 36's and a 52 stripe and cut great and they are built like tanks.
Now their ztr's are a different story.

I started out with the snapper ZTR because it was a hydro unit and cost less than 3000 out the door with a mulch kit. I like it good enough and think it is a decent starter mower. Looks more professional than regular riding mowers but cost just a little more. Maintenance is minimal and it comes with 33" or 42" cut widths. When you have enough money you can go with exmark or any other good commercial brand really.

I thought ZTR meant zero turn rider and W/B was a walk behind ?

I think Scag is a little over priced. You get the most for the money with an Exmark ! ( I have Both ) www.eXmark.com
