Toro 36" Walk Behind

I have a Toro mid-size walk behind that will not pull so good in 5th gear but in the remaining gears it seems to pull just fine. Does anyone know what might be causing this problem?

Disregard...it is amazing what a new belt (engine to clutch) will do for the pulling power in 5th gear.

Do you use a gear drive mower with a velke???

I would think that would be tough to manuever in tight areas...

Yep...we have 8 mid - size toros all are gear driven. Half have the Havener TS2000 sulkie attached to them the others are walk behind for the smaller properties we service. So far we have had no real issues with maneuverability.
