  • Hour meter

Just ordered a SenDec 2481 hour meter for my Exmark... Everyone on here talks about tiny tach, but anyone use the SenDec???

The Tiny Tach would have been $10 cheaper, but the SenDec has a Lube alert every 25 hours, and an Oil alert every 99, so I thought it was worth the extra$$$ as I'm forgetful about when to service my stuff sometimes.

Service can be scheduled when its good for your time allotment... +/- a bit either way. Especially during your "weekly" routine, the time when you are routinely doing the same route over and over for nine to ten months, you know what I mean?

You got helpers? Or Utility men?

Prolly could get it done faster and more reliably if you make it a portion of ones job responsiblities, rather than another hat you HAVE to wear, because in reality, you don't have to wear it, and it doesn't make you any money, while costing you if you do it yourself.

    You know what I mean?

But, then again, what in the hell do I know?

      Sorry.

Yes, heard of them. Probably as good as any others. However, I don't really think you need one.

I have one on my walkbehind. Really nice hour meters. You'll be happy.

I'm really glad I got that meter... I decided before I installed it on the Exmark to hook it onto the ZTR first to check the RPMs... It was running 2900 full throttle. I adjusted it up until I got 3380 which is about as close as I was able to get without going over 3400. Might explain why I've been bogging down and having to overlap more than usual lately.
