Ariens Company has reached an agreement in principle to acquire the assets of Auburn Consolidated Ind. (ACI) in Auburn, NE. The company plans to re-open the facility within the next month using an initial start-up team and determine long-term employment needs after a full assessment is complete.
"This acquisition allows us to secure a supply of stand-on products in a growing market segment among landscape contractors, add production capacity and merge two new brand names into the Ariens family of brands," said Dan Ariens. ACI has manufactured EverRide and Great Dane Mowers for the past several years. As part of the transaction, Ariens has acquired the rights to those two brand names.
