  • New Deere's

    From a press release............

"These mowers also feature a less complex design for increased dependability," says Tew. "We reduced the number of moving parts in the hydraulic system by two-thirds and eliminated 50 percent of the electrical switches. By changing over to a vertical shaft engine, we also removed 41 parts from the mower deck and drive system."

Do you think they reduced the price on these mowers by getting
rid of all those parts ?

Ha Ha Ha ..... I bet NOT !

Simplier parts, or more specialized? Cost won't go down, and replacement parts will cost that much more. Typical Deere eh?

I like the new Deere decks on the ZTRs but parts prices have always been terrible from John Deere.

        Kubota is not much better.
