  • Could use help in baton rouge for quick 36 repair

If there is anyone around baton rouge who wants to make some $ helping me with my quick 36, e-mail me direct > pseudosun@hotmail.com .. I need help putting a clutch in. I brought this mower to a few shops and they will not touch it. My latest issue is a stuck tire. I think the key got off track, and i can't get it off. I tried, and a tire shop tried, but they didn't want to damage my mower. I actually replaced the clutch about a year ago with my brother, but he's not available now. I also forgot the process. Compared to other mowers, i'd guess that the quick 36 is easy to repair, but i REALLY would rather pay for help. If i'm not totally sure on something, i have a tendency to mess it up. I've been lucky enough to handle all repairs for about 2 years. I have a garage to work in. Right now, betteroutdoorproducts hasn't responded to my mails; i guess they're busy? It's to be expected with expansion i guess. The e-mail communication was better in the beginning. Hopefully i'll get installation instructions again when i order the clutch. Not interested in phone help or internet help. I need actual help in baton rouge, and i'm willing to pay for it. e-mail pseudosun@hotmail.com .... thanks - Damian

I hope you get the help you need.

That's just the pits of buying mail-order/online only products.....a lot of dealers don't want to touch it.

I find it hard to believe

That theirs no small engine shops or lawnmower repair shops around who wont work on that mower just like anything else.....

Did you look under small engine repair in the phone book or on the Internet specifying your area code or nearby address?????

I'm sure theirs repair shops that would gladly look at and fix the thing if you simply looked around unless you live on the moon or somthing....

Its a damn lawnmower not nuclear science and im sure Gary or whatever his name is that designed the mower didnt stray from the basic design of other machines that much that a decent mechanic would be scared of working on it.....

I`m not saying your posting this on purpose because i dont know you but i could imagine some competitor writing somthing so outrageous just to try to bring his sales down because he wont sell out.......

          Just my opinion ,

Everytime I called last summer for repair help, I talked to Gary himself. Changing the clutch was a one day job for an idiot like me. Once I figured it out--it was a breeze.
