Securing the load

Okay, I have a 33" walkbehind. I need a great way to secure the load to the trailer.

Right now I have it centered of the trailer with a strap across the front casters cinched down.

I don't want to spend 100's on a wheel lock or anything. Just something simple that will not cut the quick release?

Do you have it all the way up in the front of the trailer or are you actually centering it in the middle of the trailer?

I use the least number of chains it takes to do the job. The anchor end is bolted to the trailer and the other end has a carabiner for the heavy stuff and the lighter/portable stuff has a good padlock. It is important that the chain be as short as possible to prevent side to side swinging so you may need to install eyebolts in the decking to get a good anchor point.
