  • Looking at a used Gravely Promaster 260z

I'm looking at a used Gravely 260z (72") zero turn mower with 900 hours (the owner said he thought it was a 1998-2000 model, but I talked to a gravely dealer and he didn't think the 260z was available with the 25hp kaw engine until 2003). It has a 25hp kawasaki engine. Is this a lot of hours for this type of mower? Anything specific to look for on them. I did notice it's been leaking some oil (spot on the concrete about 1.5 feet in diameter after being parked in the same spot for a year). The spot did not appear to be under the motor or the drives. It was further forward.

The guy is asking $3300 for it. Decent deal? Anything specific I should check/look for on a used zero turn?

    Thanks for any help!

Any thoughts anyone? I'm looking at it/buying it tomorrow.

Also - I will not be using it for commercial use, just to mow my 4.5 acre lawn once a week.
