My order with J-Thomas

Was $235 dollars. I am putting an Emark 36" walk behind back together from being sitting in a tree line of someone house.

Well I ordered Tuesday and expected 3 day UPS shipping, well It arrived today.

That is great, the order was placed with ease, they charged my card for the full amount.

Well after opening the box today to check for completeness, there were several things missing from my order.

They did not even order 3 items, Missing one item and one item on backorder.

So I am not pleased right now. I have my primary mower down with the motor out since I was expecting these parts to get this one running.
I guess I will be putting the motor back on to mow tomorrow.

They cannot give me an idea on backorder for the wheel assembly either so i guess i will just have to go to the dealer for that. Great 20 dollars saving no more.

ya same thing has happened to me. I dont order from them if its urgent because they are unreliable.

Bad spindle,,, took 9 mos to credit back my money.................

Just pick and choose when to use them ....... if you want quality dont bother really......... but theyre stuff is "cost effective"

Yeah, I mean the drive belt that is actually on back order as well after looking over my invoice after the smoke cleared was 20 bucks and 50 from teh dealer.

For the record, J-Thomas is my least preferred parts supplier.

Well, i have to go the cheap route this time. I was told to use them by several people.

Unfortunately until you know first hand it is still all personal preference.

I like their prices, the shipping was fast, customer service was good until I had a problem and then the whole back order thing really screwed me.

I am going to be taking a motor off a mower i hvae now to get the other up so I have to time it just right to do it on a day I am not busy mowing.

It will be okay though, i got them to overnight the parts that i am missing that are not on backorder at thier cost.
