  • John Deere Ztrak 737 Problem...HELP!!!

First off I have been lurking here for a while and what a great forum with allot of helpful posts. Now I have a problem that I hope some might be able to give me some insight to.

I have a JD ztrak 2006 737 with about 800 hours on it. I noticed last season that when I started the mower released the parking brake and pulled the steering bars together the engine would quit. Only happened a couple times and then I parked it for the year. I went to get it out again yesterday and the problem was back and I can't get the engine to stop stalling when I the bars together.
I have checked all the safety switches and the are all fine. Now I am left scratching my head and possibly carting to the JD dealer. It seems like it should be something simple and would love not having to to it to the dealer if possible.

Any help or suggestion would be greatly apprieciated...Thank you.

our 757's once in a while if you lift up the seat and it dont go down right it will do what yours is doing. We raise our seat up then drop it down again even sit in the seat and slam down your butt hard on it and I bet it will start working. It is the switch under the seat that is giving you grief I'm betting good luck!!
