  • Burned up a PTO

I need to know if anyone has had a PTO burn up and lock the motor. I blew a fuse to the pto and changed it out. An hour later it blew again and then the motor stop. I know it got very hot. Could this be keeping the motor from turning over? Motor was low on oil. Thanks for the hlep.

When the first electric clutch went out on our hustler walkbehind we thought we had ruined the 15hp Kawasaki as she locked up solid. The bearing in the clutch siezed and locked the crank to the clutch to the bracket that keeps the plate with bearing stationary. Hope this is what happened to yours as clutches are cheaper than motors.
