going from a 27hp to 29 hp fuel injected

I have a 2002 exmark lazer z that had a 27hp lc fd 750 on it now i bought a 29 hp fuel injected and can not get it to run if you put gas in the carb it will run someone suggested changing the wiring harness on the mower does anyone know what could be wrong.

Putting gas in the fuel injected model makes you a super genius.

Not knowing what you were doing was the first mistake.

I could be wrong, but, i don't know of to many FI engines with carbs??!!
