I have owned a lawn and garden repair shop since 1995 and have been a small engine tech since 1987 and I have never had anyone in my area unhappy with any of Shindiawa's trimmers and other equipment. You will "never" go wrong if you purchase Shindiawa. My wife works at a local hardware store that sells the (other brand),and their ratio of new unit repairs are one out of three sales. I have never had a Shindiawa come back to me or anyone that I have worked for after a sale. And I have only done very minor repairs on any Shindiawa that I have worked on. Those repairs were such as a spark plug, air filter, throttle cable, fuel line, bar and chain,or carb kit. These repairs were after several years of extreme daily commercial use.
Try one!!!!!!!!!!!!! You will not regret it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stihl all the way! I've never used a Shindaiwa for anything though and I guess I'm a little biased... I buy all Stihl equipment if possible!

Wow, this is an old thread.

I have two pieces of Shindaiwas, one multi tool with hedge and string attachments. The other is a hand held C4 34cc blower. I am happy with both of them.
