  • 2003 Gravely

Anyone use Gravely's. I heard the previous models were ok. I wouldn't buy one until I stopped by the loc Gravely dealer. New 2003 44" cut mid size Z. Even has hydrolic deck adjust. Haven't ever seen that. Seems nice. He said they made alot of changes, and they are a much better machine.

I have to many to choose from here, Gravely, Ex-Mark, Toro, Dixie, Dixon, Zookies, Snapper, and Hustler. All claim to have great service.

I would go with the Toro or Ex-mark, but it depends whats available in your area, and who offers the best reliability to have parts and good labor...

I also just looked at this Gravely. The hydrualic deck adjust really got my attention. I am going to demo, but since I am shopping for my first ZTR rider, I have no basis for comparison.

Does anyone else offer a hydraulic lift?

Can Someone out there can give a comparison to Exmark or SCAG?

We have a 36" WB Gravely and have be well satisfied with one heavy season of use.

        Thillteamsource,

I looked at the Kubotas recently too, and the have the hydro lift deck. These are the only two I know of that have it. I bet in the long run very helpful. And Kubota too has so many nice features. Kinda pricey, but seem to be worth it.

What do you need a hydro deck for on a 44". Just something that costs more and something else to break if you ask me. I just bought a Toro 52" ZTR this year. Love it, got the SFS deck and doesn't clog up at all. Quality Landcaping guy is right, either Emark or Toro, I have own both, and Toro bought Xmark b/c they are such damn good mowers. Either one is a sure bet.

I think I am going to quit crawfishing around these other brands and do as all you others say and just get a toro or exmark.
