    You forgot option four.

    4. A hardly used 32" Toro floater gear 12hp I/C engine with mulch plug and 2 poly and 3 cloth 5 bushel bags. $950

Cost to drive to Stone house which is 689 miles:
    Fuel at 15mpg at 1.35= $125
Motel room in NE PA $35

Total cost for a used 32" Toro FLOATER is $1110.

Plus I will throw in a Toro 21" comercial suzuki 2 stroke for another $200 if you buy the 32".

And on top of that I will give you a little wonder 3 wheel edger for
    FREE.

    Offer expires 11/1/02

Equipment is in great shape. I am getting out of doing any small stuff in the future. No longer needed. Let's talk!!!

Get the floating deck, you'll be glad you did in the future.

        Never used a Lesco.

Definately get the floating deck, if only for ease of height changes.

If you plan on mulching, you can't with the Toro floater but can with the fixed.

If you get the Toro AVOID the 2001 production models which they are unloading now.

I appreciate the offer but this time i'm going with a brand spanking new mower with a full warranty. I really want a 36", not a 32. Thanks anyway.

I bought the Lesco. It's a fixed deck with a peerless trans and a 14 HSE kawasaki engine. Very nice mower!!!

Mariner let me know how the fixed deck does for you. I am thinking of purchasing either a small Z or a W/B like you. I would like a floater deck, but am tight on money right now.

                Cole,
I have used a fixed deck type mower for the past year and have no complaints. Toro makes a belt drive floating deck but any other brands you need to go to a hydro to get a floating deck. I didn't like the way the Toro looked with the floating deck. I'm very happy with what I bought.

Hey Mariner or Anyone for this matter,

Is there really a BIG power difference in the belt vs. hydro drive in the w/b. My exmark rep. talked as if teh belt was real weak. Said with sulky wouldn't pull very good, but i'm only 185lb or so.
