Exmark striping kit wars?????

I have heard Exmark has switched suppliers for their E-Z striper striping kit. The former supplier got really upset about losing the contract so they started selling them on ebay for $180 to undercut the Exmark "brand" kit. I know for a fact they are available on ebay, but I didn't know this was the reason. Anyone else hear about this??

i bought one from ebay for that price from an ace-hardware dealer that sells exmarks in columbus. Came with supporting exmark literature. Seemed legit, great product.
