I would be inclined to get a bigger engine for a dumper. Especially if it is mated with an automatic tranny.

I would love to have one myself, but would have to opt for the diesel and automatic.

Last year, a gal I know cornered me into helping her brother and his family move. The guy had too many DUI's to drive. Anyhow, I get to their old house late in the evening. Someone else had moved the U-haul truck in to be loaded up for the last time (I wasn't there at the time). He asks me to pull it out from beside the garage and put it into the driveway. I pull straight out, but the huge, gently sloped ditch is too much for it, and the thing is stuck bigger than life. The back bumper was keeping the rear wheels off the ground by about a foot, maybe a little more. I jump out of the truck, and almost beat the guys ass on the spot. He said "Oh, I thought you knew you couldn't go out that way. We jockied it in through the driveway." I started yelling at him about JUST STANDING THERE while I was moving like 4 miles an hour. He could have just yelled! I think he realized that it was time to hide. I already didn't like this guy for being drunk and taking swings at his sister on Christmas eve. So, he did the right thing and just hid for a while. Anyhow, a good old farm boy was behind his house working in the field. He heard me yelling, and drove over in his F-350 Diesel 4X4. That thing pulled this huge truck out, at an angle no less, and didn't flinch. I don't think he even throttled it much, just dropped it into reverse. I swear it had enough power to pull the thing over on its side and drag it down the street.

If I were getting one, it would have the diesel for sure. I know it is like another $5,000 but, I think that truck would do anything you asked of it. Besides, the diesels get much better milage.
