Husky makes great trimmers. I have the one you mentioned plus a few other models from them. Between the commercial 325 and the "residential" 322, I actually prefer the 322. It seems to purr a little better. Not that the 325 doesn't.

If you want a real powerful one, go with their 232L. It is heavy, but a true beast that will last at least a decade. It's almost identical to all of my 225L's. And those date back 10 years, all still used daily, all still purr like brand new, none of my models have ever had problems. And we use them hard.

I've had new employees that used Stihl, Echo.......they say the Husky's are better once they use them for a few days. My newest guy said he loved Redmax, and their blowers. We'll see about that next week!

We use an Echo, which I liked at first, but this is the 3rd year with it, and it's starting to give me problems.

I use a Husqvarna blower (Also 3 yrs. old), and it's still runnng great. I'd like to try a Husq. trimmer.

                  Lawnworks:

The bad ass trimmer you are missing out on goes by the name of RedMax. Find your local dealer, and go check one out.

For a stick edger I use the Stihl FC110, with the 4-mix engine. It has enough oomph to cut a new edge in badly overgrown stuff. I'm happy with it so far.

Let me know what you think of the RedMax trimmers if you do go and check them out. I run the BCZ2600S. Seriously, go look at one. It is a major leap above my Stihl.

Redmax is my favorite. They are soooo smoooooth. No vibration, plenty of power. I have several brands and the employees always seem to grab the Redmax trimmers.

The Stihl 4 mix 110 series is probably the best stick edger you're gonna find. Rather than pay for two separate pieces of equipment though, you can get the Stihl KM 110 with the trimming attachment and the edging attachment. There's also a hedging attachment, etc. I love mine, but it doesn't like to start if left out in the 100 degree sun. Smooth, lots of power etc.

I use Kaw stick and trimmer .. They seem to do the job very well as since my first edger was a RYOBI home version.... One thing I dont like about the trimmer is the auto feed not working to good right now.. I need to see whats up with it...

Husqvarna BLOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just went through 3 in the past month.
                          1. Would not prime
                          2. Fired up and ran for 3 yards then the bolt that holds the trimmer head broke .
                          3. 2 weeks after I got it the pull cord pull right out.
So 3 strikes it'll be a while before I buy Husqvarna again. I have an echo stick edger that has been very reliable so I am gonna give Echo a shot. Wish me luck.

                            Stagman, what model?

I have never heard of any problems with them. I have many, and many different models. They all fire right up. Only maintenance is a plug in the spring, and clean the filter or replace in the spring. Nothing else, ever. They all purr like the day I bought them, some over 10 years old. I have probably put a pull cord in 2 of them in all that time.

Hopefully, you bought the only 3 bad ones ever produced!

there' s always in a lemon in every make and model of something built. You just got them all.

Husky's are still the best for all day work crews.
