  • sulky or velke?

I need some help finding a good sulkey. What is the best and how much will they cost? What brand to use? I have a 36"exmark WB. Its about 5 years old and there are no holes on it to mount a sulkey so I'll have to make something fit. Also has anyone ever home made one? It shouldn't be too hard to do.

You'll regret making one, materials are expensive and they take a beating. Companies make them so they don't fall apart. For a 36 a single wheel velke would be good because they are small and light. If you want two wheels for a 36 I would probably get jungle wheels because they are also fairly light. Too much weight behind a 36 and you will be the wheelie king.

I use a velke x2 on my 36" belt drive and I wouldn't trade it for the world! They are about $200.00 on sale to $$300.00 retail.

        Velke

I have a 36" Toro WB and I use a single wheel Velke on it and it works great. I was told by a few people that a double wheel can be a bit cumbersome with a smaller deck like a 36. Mine was $250.00. Either way get one. You will cut your personal fatigue level down a lot!!
