  • Lifting a ZTR to change blades

    Can you help me out?
I'm wondering what would be a safe and practical way to get a ZTR up, so that I can change the blades. I would appreciate any suggestion.

    Thanks,

car ramps, hydraulic lift, your trailers ramp, etc...

If you use any type of ramp, make sure you chock the back tire(s)

Phil, that's a great site for me...I need to look into "trailor organizing accessories" to mount my blower, trimmer and stick edger. Thanks.

          Thanks for the Ballard site

          Phil,
The Ballard "Super Lift" looks like what I need. Quick, simple, and safe. The "Army of Guys", that are willing to share ideas on your Web-Site is just great.

          Thanks Again,

I use the car ramps when at the shop and the trailer ramp when out. These ways have worked well for me for over 4 years now.

I use a hydraulic jack, and it works fine for me. Gets it a little higher off the ground then the trailer ramp

You would think by now ... all heavy mowers would come with factory built-in lifting jacks.

i know a guy who has a VOVLVO LOADER WITH CLAWS he could scoop it up for u and flip it over a few times LOLS joke...

i would say find a nice high curb and carefully back off it and put the brake on and reach down under it... thats how i do it
