Thanks guys for all the help on the blower chosing. I used the 145bt today on a big leaf clean-up job on about a 3 acre lawn and it seems to kick ass it is really quite too. next season we are going to hire are first employ and I will have to get a second blower then. I will look into the bigger ones but for now this seems to do a great job. Seems like I see alot of lawn services around here using Stihl. This surprise me since owners can go to Home depot and purchase an Echo at a great price, this must say something for Stihl The big dealers in are area carry Red max, Stihl & Husqvarna also Shindawa.

Thanks again for all the help...
    Thank-You!

The Home Depot's around here don't carry the top of the line Echo's. Can only find the 650 at independants. Anyone seen a 650 at HD & if so at what $$$.

403 is the biggest I've ever seen at HD,, really too small for daily commercial use.

Hope you enjoy your new blower. I tried the Echo 650 against the 603 and ended up with the 603. Why? Didn't notice any difference in power. Both rip thick piles of wet leaves out of beds without a problem. I think the reason I went with the 603 was that I prefer the throttle on the pipe more than the left handed throttle of the 650. I found that it was awkward when going through beds and behind shrubs as it was getting hung up on things which irritated me.

            Happy thanksgiviing.

Keth, the tube throttle kit for the 650 is only $40.

Next year it will come standard.

                Zack,

Do you happen to have a part number for the tube throttle kit? How did you hear that the tube throttle will be standard next year? Will the CFM be the same next year also?

                Thanks,

                Joel B.

No part # but your Echo dealer should be able to find it no problem. Had mine installed at time of purchase & he charged me an additional $40.

I was going to pick up another 650 this fall but dealer told me if I hang on until spring the blower will be avail. with a tube mount.

Tube mount is definately the way to go!
