Anyone out there heard anything good or bad about Husqvarna equipment? I'm looking at a Husqvarna w/ a 23hp liquid cooled Kohler w/ a 52" cut and comparing it to an exmark that is the same except it is air cooled. The husqvarna is a demo from last season w/ 60 hrs. they want $6500. They exmark is a new left over w/ 2 hrs and there asking $6900.

I've never owned an exmark but I have a husky and haven't a bad thing to report about. Not sure about exmark's warranty but Husky's ztr's come with a 2 year.
Not too sure about the kohler motor. The only experience I've had with them are the air cooled 16's on lawn tractors. My husky came with a kawasaki.

eXmark eXmark eXmark
I own eXmark and did test a husky. Exmark doesn't try to be the fastest on ashpalt, but put it in the grass and they are awesome. As Odin stated, the customer service from eXmark is second to none in the industry. All the guys at the factory and the reps really love what they do.

hello everyone,
i am new to the forum but have been reading you for some time. i just bought an exmark 25hp koler 60" cut ZTR and am very very pleased. i agonized over the decision on sise, brands, ect, and after reading the suggestions on the forum (not to me , to others) feel i have made a very good decision. i to was looking at a 52" mower but the dealer gave me a good deal on the 60". i could not feel this comfortable about my buy without all of your help and i thank you all very much.

They are both great mowers. Husqvarna equipment in general is going to be some of the best equipment going. They aren't pushed as much here in the USA as in all other countries. If it makes you feel better, they sell in over 100 countries. Very strong name, very good equipment. I would have no second guesses about purchasing a Husqvarna. BUT, I would say when it came to a ZTR, Scag would give it a run for it's money. And that is coming from a Toro/Exmark man!
My money would probably be on the Scag Cub ZTR.....that's a heck of a mower and right in your price range.a.k.a.---> Erich
