  • Kawasaki; Blowers, Trimmers, Edgers

Does anyone use kawasaki's equipment. I know kawasaki engines are nice, but I never hear anyone reccommend them for a trimmer, edger, etc.

Kaw makes one of the lightest, most comfortable, smoothest trimmers on the market.

But only a fool would buy a Kaw. blower!

      hey cole,
i bought my first kawasaki string trimmer in march of 02 after having one of my shindaiwa t270s stolen. i now own 2 kawasaki kbl26a trimmers. they rate about the same as the shindaiwa t25 or t260s. so far they have been great, they are ALOT lighter than anything else ive used. so far so good i paid 269.00 on sale. that is much cheaper thsn the comparable shin.

I have used the hedge trimmer and the backpack blower. I did not care for the blower. I bought the hedge trimmers in March 2002 and they have worked real well.

Lesco is a main distributor of Kawasaki Power Equipment. I have tried them in the past, but I still recommend Echo, Sthil, and Husqvarna.

I bought the biggest and baddest Kawasaki back pack blower offered. Guess what, it was the worst piece of equipment I have ever owned. None of my employees like it, no way it puts out the numbers they say, no way. Horrible ergonomics, and faulty design to say the least. If someone offered them to me for $150, I would pass. No joke.

I can't judge the rest of their line up, but if it is even 50% like their blowers, I would not give them a second look.

Can you tell I am upset with that blower purchase??

I have heard good things about their trimmers...especially the kbl26a as imograss mentioned. Lesco gave me a price of $290 for them, so I would wait to see if I could catch them on sale.

Can't help you much with this one Eric. We only use Stihl trimmers and blowers. Very dependable with plenty of horsepower.
