exmark encore used--worth?

I was wondering if a used Exmark Encore 48 with 300 hrs on it is worth a $1,000? How many hours are these types of engines and transmissions good for? It is hydro trans but no sure on motor--contacting seller to get more info. And what type of maint. are you looking at when the mowers start getting up in hours. I will probably on put 10-15 hrs a week on it. Also, I would have to drive about 15 hrs one way to pick it up or pay out the a$$ for shipping.

300 hours is just getting broken in. Not sure of a value, sorry. I'd venture to say that at $1000.00, you'd better get it before I do.

The exmark encore is a nice machine. Hydro with 300 hrs 1000.00 bucks great deal. change the oil every 40-50 hrs, watch your hydraulic fluid and the machine will run for a long time.
