kohler command or briggs vanguard ?

I'm just starting out. I would like to cut 5 to 10 residential yards to help pay for my mow. Between the ZT1844KH Kolner command 18 hp wtih 44 inch cut or the ZT2050BV Briggs & Stratton vanguard 20 hp with 50 inch cut which do you think is the better. There is about $500.00[list]
difference between the two.

Sorry, but Kawasaki. I wouldn't reccommend kohler or briggs to an enemy. Just my $.02

to be honest,your new tot he industry i would buy soemthing used like a mower both of thoose engines SUCK if you had to choose between them i would go kohler, but if your looking for a MOWER. I would look for a used scag or bobcat that run kaw engines or soem even have honda p.m me and i can give you soem detailed advice
