  • Jeff D & The Quick 36 .....

    Jeff,
I was wondering how everything was working out with that new mower. I am very interested in buying The Quick 36 to cut my own lawn, about 1 1/2 acres.
I almost bought a Sutech for $1600 over the weekend. Decided to hold off until I did more research.
Many thanks. I've appreciated your posts on this board.

In my previous post, I typed "Jeff D". It should have been "Jeff M & The Quick 36"

That mower lookes very much like the one BillyGoat made added to their linup. I wonder if BillyGoat makes it for them?

          mowerman:

The Quick36 is much more of a commercial grade machine. If you saw the two side by side, you'd see what I mean...

            The BG is a 33" belt drive...the Quick36" is a 36" SD hydro.

I think it is a pretty safe investment. It has some nice features. I have ordered one. Looking forward to getting it soon. I can tell you later how that goes. I am pretty sure that the mower is pretty nice..

Busy yes (landscape maintenance), mowing no... Remember I'm in NY and the grass is juuust starting to get started here. So far I don't have any more to report. The little beaut is sitting in my garage waiting to go. I can't use her for spring clean-ups 'cause I haven't received the bagger yet. Got word from Gary it's comming, though. Seems people here are VERY ready for landscape maintenance, but not thinking about grass cutting yet. I've got a bunch of people dragging their feet on mowing contracts. I think once it warms up some of them will come around though.

As soon as I put blade to grass I'll give an honest review. I don't think it's going to be long before that happens. I have a good feeling about the machine for the use I'm going to give it...
