Great dane super surfer

Does anyone run this machine? If so how do you like it and how does it compare to other machines. I know that dane scag designed these machines, so I'm assuming that they are a quality machine.

I have a Surfer and I think it is the best machine on the market. Just my opinion though. I wouldn't have anything other than Great Dane equipment. Also my opinion.

i demoed one a couple seasons back. the machine done an excellent job, but i was un happy with loading and unloading. the deck would hang on my trailer every time. i think it needs a general deck lift like a ztr instead of just the cutting hight. i only used it for a week, but i would rather have a walk behind. there are alot of peaple in my area that use them.

I demoed the Surfer & the Wright Stander last yr. & will likely purchase a 42" Stander. Neither performed well in heavy growth (clumping) but they are definately faster & more maneuverable than a WB w/velke in large areas & tightly landcaped areas without alot of turf contours.

I have (TWO) Great Dane Super Surfer's (61" 22hp), and I havent did a lot of work with them yet, but they seem just fine.I've have talked to other people all over the country that have them and they all seem to love them. I've been on this forum a little while back and everybody hated the surfer, You cant always trust what you here on this forum, I think some of there guys never even seen a surfer, much less tell you what they think of them. They say, I had a friend of a friend that said his friend hated his, and all that crap. Some on here are 15 years old, Hey, If you dont take care of it and pull the maintenance, their all junk. Well thats all i can tell you, I think you wont go wrong with the Surfer. Later Dude.
