i have to get a 36" wb. going to buy next week. am divided by scag hydro and quick 36

for those that have bought a quick36 if you had to do it all over again would you buy it?

we got our big contract and a 36" hydro is going to be a must for area's around patio's and curbed islands. can not afford down time at all on a machine waiting for parts. but the quick36 price is very apealing.

Whatever machine you buy ... if you can afford it at the time ... purchase a few spare parts most likely to break down ( or get wrecked in the process of the work ) Extra blades, maybe a spindle housing, flat fixers, belts, bushings, spacers, bearings ? ? ?

Make a list of most likely to go down ...

        What about this?

        Hello Dave:

Did you read the last 2 post on this thread...

Are you checking your PM Box? They might be too busy cutting grass!

As far as parts go a dealer is not going to be stocking that many parts unless he's sold a lot of them, I know because I don't it's too easy to order them & get them in a few days.

If this means anything to you, I have over a $100K Inventory paid for & I don't have crap parts wise? Why should I tie up my money in parts that I might not sell 2 of in a Year, but I can make a call & get them in 2 to 4 days?

Dave, you probably use Pine Straw for Mulch there in Florida sometimes, My last few Years I was putting down up to 5,000 bales a year... I was using it all the time... Now guess how many bales of Straw I Kept on Hand? Not an Onion!

Then the dealer has got to order from the Manufacture & sometimes has to order through a Distributor & then they might not have it so they have to order from manufacture, so if any ordering done you are going to have to go through at least one more people, which equals more time waiting on parts & more markup in cost of parts, to pat for all the hands that touches the parts...

Will the dealer order the parts that day or will he wait until he gets enough of an order to get proper Discounts & FREE Shipping? Or will he order it overnight & charge you for the extra trouble Plus Overnight FEES on top of already Marked up Parts?

OH Yeah, The Loaner Story from the Dealer. I'm sure he might have one or 2 Loaners if he has any at all? What if he has 2 loaners for People waiting for machines to be repaired, but has 6 Commercial guys waiting, Does he Break out 4 more New Mowers? Does he go by who spends the most & they get a Loaner first "OR WHAT"

That's like the World Famous Lawn Mower that is advertised that it cranks on the first pull or fixed for FREE... Read all the restrictions on that? It's made them Millions over the Years, LOL!

Do you want me to keep on going with what if Scenarios or Stop? The world is full of Promises & they are only as Good as the Man behind them?

The Quick 36 you're ordering factory direct, all the positive feedback about Gary goes a long ways right here... http://www.lawnserviceforum.com/showthread.php?t=8139

          dave_n_mulberry;

Been traveling this last week and didn't see your post until now...

          Couple things to consider:

For the cost of that dual-hydro, you could have TWO Quick 36's. Well built machine that is very easy to use and gives an excellent quality of cut. Our customers seem to be pretty happy with their purchases.

In the next couple days we'll be launching our new website that shows actual photographs and full descriptions of ALL our service parts and accessories with "shopping cart" functionality. What you see is what you get... really easy and FAST!

If you have questions about the product, call me toll-free at 866-290-7295.
