    I have an Echo handheld as a backup. Starts on second pull no matter how long I let it sit. I do have to agree with the others that it has no particular advantage over my Redmax 7001. The only advantage that might exist in some rare cases would be if the person using it had some physical limitations that prohibited the use of a backback.

      You might look at a makita hand held. I had their backpack and was very happy with it. I have the stihl bg 85 but want to try the makita next. The Makita backpak started on the first pull most all the time. The stihl wont do that. I think they were going for under $200 this spring.

        sthil,one prime a day and its fine.You should only have to prime your two cycles one time a day any ways.Unless its cold out.
