I am in the market for a new trimmer. I have been useing a ryobi for a while and it is time to move to the commercial quality type. What is the best type? ECHO,STHIL OR SHINDAIWA.Ihave dealers all around that say their brand that they sell is the best. One more thing. I have about a budget of 250.00 to 300.00 to spend.

I can nearly guarantee that no trimmer is better than Husqvarna! In your price range? The 322L is very nice, well balanced and powerful, and light. For just under $300 you can get the 325XL model, basically the same thing but a bigger engine.

I've run many differnet trimmers, and have had employees that worked for other companies that used all trimmers mentioned in other posts above. Once they get use to the Husqvarna, they agree, it is the best. Hands down. They now sell them at Lowes hardware.

You can not go wrong with their line trimmers. I have yet to have one go down for anything, after 9 years, I still have the originals still running strong!!! I have 7 or 8 of them now.

I have been using Redmax for over 10 years now every day all day and they are extremely reliable and productive. I wouldn't buy anything else. Blowers and trimmers

I use echo. Try to find trimmer YOU like--one you would feel comfortable with. Try to stick with the same brand...makes repairs/swapping parts a little easier.
