    I Just Got A 2000 Viper Hydro With 800 Hours On It For 500 Bucks Its In Great Condition But When U Turn Blades On And Move It Starts Dying Down And Doesnt Want To Recover If Anyone Knows Or Heard Of This Let Me Know

    You may have a spindle bearing dragging down the horses.

    If you suspect this is the case, you must remove the deck belts and check each spindle for radial and axial play.

    Next, you may need to check the governor. You loosen the pinch bolt, move the gov. lever to the left, and rotate the gov "axle" to the right. Keeping both items where they are supposed to be, re-tighten the pinch bolt. This resets the gov.

      i checked the spindle bearings and all ok... the mechanic at the dealer told me to chk.the coils . he said they had problems with them im gonna do that in the am. because it pouring here now .. ill let u know how i make out..

        turned out to be the carb ...it was only running on 1 cylinder
