I currently have a 1995 Dodge Ram V8 pickup truck and I was thinking of buying a blade to plow snow with it. Does anyone think I would have a problem considering the fact that the truck does not have 4 wheel drive?

Don't quite understand that phrase, are you saying that the weight of the plow on a 4x2 will wear out your pickup driving it around.I do understand that they are not really made for plowing and may not be built as rugged as a 4x4,but what would wear out ,[
][?]Maybe front wheel bearings,or front springs.Just curious,although i myself wouldn't plow without 4x4.

jrservices,
The 4x2 vs. 4x4 has nothing to do with wearing down the truck. Plows weigh so much, they basically put a ton of weight on the front of the truck. Thats why it is so important to keep weight in the back of the bed, which keeps all the weight even. So, a 3/4 ton can handle that weight better than a 1/2 ton can, and a 1 ton can handle it better than both a 1/2 and a 3/4 ton..
Make sense??Steve
