On my lesco aerator, I have a Honda Gx120 4.0 hse engine. It will run rough in choke but will only idle without the choke. I have already cleaned the carb thoroughly and have moved to the possibility that the carb seals are bad. My question is, will bad seals cause this problem? Is that small amount of an air leak significant enough to cause it to run this poorly? The thing is very new but has been in storage for a little while.

Check your spark plug -

It cant be the spark plug because it is running. It wouldn't start if the spark plug was bad.Comment

I bought this item from someone so there is no warranty. I talked to someone today that explained how to remove the jets in the carb so i'll try that next and clean them.Comment
