My Fs90r Is full of 5mmx1.75 fasteners. Where can I find a tap this size to clean some damaged threads. Ive never seen this size metric tap. Apparently nobody else has either. Help!

If you have to retap you can tap another size if needed.

          Retaping threads

Be careful when doing this as most machines are cast alloy and re taping them can make them worse
There are a variety of products around which can be used for repairing threads and if you check with one of the specialised engineering supply companies they should steer you along the right track
Dont bother about looking in Lawnmower Repair Shops or even your local DIY these wouldnt have what you need

Try a bolt and nut shop

In west Texas we have shops that specialize in nuts and bolts. You could find a tap and die set in one of those shops for whatever threads. I imagine you could find someone selling the needed die set online.

Lots of blowers and string trimmers are made to be replaced not repaired. If someone has worked on it already it is probably time for new equipment.

            Good Luck
