ZTR hours before replacement

How many hours do you put on a ZTR mower before replacing? When is the best time weighing trade-in value/replacement cost/expected maintenance cost? Thoughts by brand/model.

Excellent question! My web research on Exmark ZTR's seems to be somewhere around the 1,000 hours. This is not always the case, but on Ebay it seems that those units with over 1,000 hours are selling for considerably less. My recent purchase of an Exmark LazerZ was based upon comparing different brands for this reason. Grasshopper was my second choice.
