Are Oregon blades really that much better?

Who says they are better? IMO, OEM is best. Oregon blades work....that's about all. I wouldn't be surprised if gator blades are made by Oregon either. And again, I think gator blades are just a crock of chit unless you're running them in conjunction with a mulch kit. Even then, wavy mulch blades work better. Whatever you use, just keep them balanced and sharp.
