Byers Gold Mowers

Hello all,
I have just found the forum. I search for info about byers gold, but with no luck.

I have bought a used ZTM made by Byers. I got a real good deal on it. The name of the mower is Byers Gold. It has a twin 18 HP B/S motor. I have not been able to find much info about the company. I was wondering if anyone knows about them and what happend to them. I know that they are no longer around. I think it is a copy of the bunton ZTM. I am going to need some parts for it.

I have sent you an e-mail with a web adress where you can possibly find parts for that mower. I have never purchased anything from them. I just happened to see that brand mower in their list after reading your thread. Check your e-mail and good luck.

Byers Gold is out of business. There is only one place in the world that may have parts for this machine. Landscape Supply and their phone number is 1-800-222-4303 or 1-502-964-5912. When Byers went out of buisness all of their parts were bought up by Landscape Supply. The byer company was only in buisiness for a couple of years. Do yourself a favor......dump the machine.

Most of the Bunton parts are interchangable, as well as a lot of Scag parts. I believe Black Rock bought Byers, so that mower LS is selling now is basically the same as the Byers Gold, its just a Black Rock now (or whatever company name they've changed to now). And I believe LS bought Black Rock (or whatever they are now).
