exmark with or without mulch kit?

I recently purchased an Exmark Lazer Z for residential use. I originally wanted to purchase the mulch kit, but I let the salesman talk me out of it. I'm now second guessing that decision. Can anyone give any advice as to whether or not you would recommend the mulch kit. I generally mow the grass when it is dry, but I may only have time to mow once a week.

Like you, I too recently purchased an Exmark Z for residential use and wondered the same thing....at first.

What I found is that I mow once a week and even with the strong groth at the moment, I cant see the clippings. With my last mower, they where very obvious, with the Exmark, they seem to vanish.

Anyway, I might give the Mulch kit some more thought come fall and Leafs, but at the moment...........

One thing I have read ( second hand info ) is that mulch kits use more engine HP and do clog up quicker in wet grass.
