I have been on this site searching the forum for an hour now trying different combinations and cannot find the thread that had all the comments and web address that sold rack systems for the entire trailer. Please help.

If you have any skill with a welder or have a local fabricator who charges reasonalbe fees, you could be better off designing your own.

While most commercial "rack" systems are great, they are costly.

The big thing I have found is that with the different lengths of trailers, a "standard" system never fits the best for each application. Building your own is great!

I have to agree with Elwood on this, a trailer rack is a trailer rack. Take a look at one and see what materials are needed. Take this list to your local steel supplier, get the materials and weld it yourself (or machine shop will if you don't weld). It's pretty straight forward for a 3 trimmer rack or a backpack rack.
Hell, for the prices some of these racks are, I might do a few over the winter and toss them on ebay until it gets warm.

Just think about a few items before you build/buy one.

Time/ease to get equip in and out of the rack.

What safety latches do they have. - Can you put equip in the rack, not fasten it down, and lose euipment.

Looks of equipment. Minor issue, but why have a nice truck and trailer and a poor looking rack. Spoils the image. Avoid a rusty look.

Permanent vs. removeable. Welded or bolted.

Just my 2 cents. I have a Trimmer Trap and I like it a lot. Three trimmers, no need for additional latching, other than the spring. It's lockable too.

I just purchesed trimmer rack (Love it!) and BP Blower rack (Like it, "ok") from the Ballard company in Phil's post above. They were excellent to deal with, had good prices, quick shipping, and the product quality is great.
