  • toro 32"

are the 32" toro walk behinds with belt drive and t-bar good? I'm interested in a lightly used one I saw for $1650 w/ less than 100hrs. (how much are they new?) I also have a 21" proline and a 44" z-master, so the 32" would be my midsize mower. The 32" has one big blade. any thoughts? thanks

They are fine, but $1650 is too much. My dealer offered new ones up for $1900, and I didn't even negotiate price yet. But I didn't need them then.

If the unit is the single blade 32" floater it is Garbage...if it is the twin blade fiXed deck then it would be acceptable for a belt drive.

it's the 32" floater, single blade. why is it garbage? why would fixed deck be better? I called around and found an average price of about $2800.

does anybody know why the single blade 32" floater would be garbage? I'm going to look at / test run one saturday. Should I steer clear of this model for some reason? I'm wondering if the big blade might scalp too easy. thanks for any advice.

            It's not garbage.

The twin blade unit will discharge & mulch better. The single blade also has a tendency to scalp.

Go with the T-bar set up.With the trigger mowers you will be dead tired after 5 lawns.I own a Toro 52'' with T-bar set up,and its a very relaxing mower.
